in the barranca
In the barranca of Amatitán, where the Santiago River carved stone before maps existed, the water that feeds our agave is born. Twenty-five years mastering a craft not found in books: the exact moment the oven opens, the instinct in fermentation, the eye on the still.
Three expressions, one house, one honesty. Mi Tierra for the family table. Don Fernando for character. Casa 1919 as a tribute. All made here, with hands that have known this land since the year 2000.

Process
Six decisions that define character.
Tahona
Basalt stone grinds the agave at the pace the master chooses. No motor replicates that cadence.
Masonry ovens
24 hours of steam. The piñas emerge transformed: complex sugars, toasted color, the first character of the bottle.
Open fermentation vats
Aged wood, wild flora from the barranca. Open fermentation is not controlled — it is listened to.
Copper alembics
Double distillation. The house works copper and steel at different stages to find the precise balance between power and finesse.
Agave at peak maturity
Only blue weber tequilana agave, harvested at the exact point of maturity. Between seven and twelve years in the barranca.
Endemic yeasts
The yeasts that ferment our agave are born here, in the barranca. Not imported or industrial. They are part of the microclimate that gives each expression its identity.
